What to Expect

Initial Consultation:

The initial consultation for Acupuncture normally lasts around 1 hour. An in depth intake and history is normally taken in the beginning and followed by treatment. After a diagnosis and a treatment plan are created, we insert the needles. We normally let you then relax for about 20-30 minutes and let then needles do their work. If needed, subsequent work may be involved; including massage, cupping, gua sha, moxa, etc…

Follow – up Treatment:

Each follow up treatment will consist of a brief intake to grasp progression of treatment. The needles will be inserted and retained for the proper amount of time. Each treatment after the initial consultation will take anywhere from a half hour to 45 minutes.
